Around 300 litres of diesel was stolen from an excavator in a field near Manby.
Lincolnshire Police is now appealing for information after the theft, which occurred overnight between January 6 and 7.
Approximately 300 litres of red diesel was stolen from a yellow excavator parked in a field adjacent to the B1200 between Manby and Saltfleetby.
Anyone with information should contact PC Phil Young by dialling 101 and quoting incident number 55 of January 5. Alternatively, report the crime anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
