A WOMAN from Grimsby will be hoping to grab herself a dream date tonight on a popular TV dating show.
Customer service worker Jade Headland, 23, who is starring in the latest series of ITV's Take Me Out, narrowly missed out on a trip to the famed Isle of Fernando's with a male contestant who caught her eye last week.
Jade was whittled down to the final two girls by male hopeful Scott, from Newcastle.
But unfortunately for her she was snubbed at the last hurdle, after Scott decided to go for Kat instead.
Take Me Out is in its seventh series, which saw new features including "love at first light" – where male hopefuls are asked at the start of the show which girl they would most like to go on a date with.
Speaking about her time on the show, Jade said: "It has been the best experience of my life so far and I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about applying to go on the programme.
"I have made some friends for life because you spend so much time with each other.
"The runners, back- ground staff and the make-up artists are all so nice and look after you well."
Take Me Out returns to our screens at 8.05pm tonight on ITV 1.
