GRIMSBY Town have this afternoon announced the signing of Mansfield striker Ollie Palmer on an initial one-month loan deal.
The deal for the 6'5" frontman is subject to FA, Football League and Conference approval, but is expected to be ratified soon.
The 22-year-old started his career with Woking before moving to Havant & Waterlooville where he scored 37 goals in 64 appearances.
That return caught the attention of the Stags, who signed him for an undisclosed fee in 2013. He went on to score their first league goal back in the Football League in a 1-0 win over Wycombe Wanderers.
