POLICE are searching for witnesses to incident in which a man left with bruising to his head and face after being assaulted in Park Close.
The man was assaulted as he returned home from work in 11:30pm on Friday, December 5.
The incident is reported as happening outside Wold Newton House in Park Close, Immingham when two men are alleged to have approached the victim from behind and assaulted him.
The motive for the assault is not clear but there may have been an exchange of words between the three men prior to the incident and a small amount of money may have been taken.
The man is unable to describe the men he believes to be responsible for the assault in which he sustained bruising to his head and face.
The man received treatment at Diana, Princess of Wales hospital and was not detained.
