A cyclist has been knocked over on a pedestrian crossing in Grimsby this morning.
Emergency services attended the scene on Durban Road having been called at 7.51am.
Police closed off part of the road near the Fiveways roundabout, but is now clear.
A blue Citroen Saxo was the car involved in the incident.
An ambulance arrived at the scene at 8.10am.
The cyclist has been taken to hospital following first aid being administered at the scene by a member of the public.
The cyclist's injuries are not yet known.
The scene of the collision is now cleared, however police would still like to hear from anyone who saw the collision and ask witnesses to call 101 quoting log number 80 of today, Thursday October 16.
