GRIMSBY Town's style of football has left neutral onlookers impressed – according to Paul Hurst.
The Mariners boss was complimented on his side's play in last weekend's victory at Wrexham, and Hurst says it wasn't the first time this season
"The performance had bits of everything," remarked the manager.
"There was some really good play from ourselves, and there was also the part where we had to defend and dig in and show that side to our game.
"It was interesting speaking to some of the Wrexham people and a couple of neutral people who were at the game – they were really impressed with us.
"And along the way so far, despite our position, I've been getting some nice comments about our team.
"Now, that's great but you don't want to become one of those teams that are seen as a good side but don't quite do anything.
"That said, they're not emotionally attached to the club and just watch and see things, so it's nice we are getting some good comments about our team, the way we play and the way we set up.
"Hopefully, the lads can build on the result at Wrexham, but we know it's a difficult test against Torquay."
