A Grimsby man has been charged with three counts of raping a girl under the age of 16 following an incident in the town's Sutherland Park on Sunday.
As reported Humberside Police cordoned off an area of the park, off Victor Street, following reports of a serious sexual assault on a teenage girl.
Today it has been revealed that Adrian Clifford, 34, of Suffolk Court, has been charged with three counts of rape in relation to the incident.
He failed to enter a plea to the charges in an appearance before Grimsby Magistrates Court and the case has now been committed to Grimsby Crown Court.
