PARENTS in North East Lincolnshire are meeting World Health Organisation (WHO) targets for the number of children receiving the MMR vaccine by the age of two.
WHO guidelines call for at least 95 per cent of children to have received the first dose of the Measles Mumps and Rubella immunisation by their second birthday.
And the latest figures released by the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC) for 2013/14, show that in North East Lincolnshire, 96 per cent (2,024) of the 2,104 two-year-olds had done so.
Local parents have also met WHO targets for the number of children receiving their 'five in one DTaP/IPV/Hib' vaccine by their first birthday.
The organisation suggests 95 per cent of children should have had the jab by the age of one. Locally, 97 per cent (1,913) of the 1,965 one year olds have done so.
