Two men have been arrested following an assault close to the Bank and Vault pub in Grimsby last night.
A man suffered a head injury in the violence which happened around 8pm.
A Humberside Police spokeswoman said officers attended The Bank and The Vault, Bethlehem Street, Grimsby following reports of a man having been injured close by.
The spokeswoman said: "Police attended and quickly located and arrested one man with a second man being arrested shortly after.
"The injured man received hospital treatment for a laceration injury to his head and his condition is not considered to be life threatening."
The two men aged 21 years and 22 years remain in police custody in connection with the incident as police continue enquiries to establish the circumstances leading to the man sustaining a head injury.
Witnesses were asked to contact Humberside Police by calling 101 quoting log number 630 of Sunday, September 21.
