GRIMSBY Town are determined to silence the Shay home crowd this evening (7.45pm).
Third-placed Halifax are the opposition as the Mariners look to bounce back from two successive defeats.
And while manager Paul Hurst admits it is a tough proposition, he says silencing the Yorkshire club's support will be crucial to Town's hopes.
"I believe we'll need to produce one of our best performances of the season to get something out of it tonight," he said.
"They had a disappointing last game, albeit I expect Forest Green to be up there come the end of the season.
"But reading their manager Neil Aspin's comments, it was a bit of let-down for them so they've already spoken about trying to bounce back from that.
"I expect them to really come at us and get that crowd there behind them – we've got to silence that if possible."
