Could a warm spell of weather be on its way to North East Lincolnshire this week?
After a wet August, September has been much drier and the trend for more settled conditions may continue over the coming days.
A mass of warm air is forecast to move over parts of Britain from the continent with southern parts of the country likely to bask in highs of 26c by Thursday.
Though the Grimsby area borough is unlikely to see temperatures as balmy as those enjoyed in the south, the high teens or even the low 20s are possible, possibly bringing a slightly summerly feel to early autumn.
