Police have appealed for witnesses to an arson attack on a stack of 300 bales at Utterby.
Louth firefighters tackled the fire throughout last night after the blaze started at around 11.30pm on land next to Utterby Primary School.
A Lincolnshire Police spokeswoman said the fire was being ivestigated as arson.
A Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said the bales were well alight when the crew arrived.
