The North Thoresby 1940s weekend has kicked off in style with a flypast by two Lancaster Bombers.
The display was one of the highlights of the first day of the popular nostalgia festival, which concludes tomorrow.
There was also a flypast from a Spitfire.
Organised by the village's 1940s group, there are numerous attractions to enjoy, including a reprisal of last year's popular grandfather's fete, classic cars, vintage coaches, live music, craft stalls and military and civilian re-enactors and period vehicles, including two coaches to the train station for charming trips aboard the steam trains.
There will be another Spitfire flypast on Monday.
