A man was apprehended by PCSOs yesterday following reports of a robbery on Doughty Road, Grimsby.
A woman called the police shortly before 10pm after a man on a bicycle allegedly snatched money from her which she had just withdrawn from a cashpoint on Victoria Street.
The woman's description of the man and the actions of the PCSOs quickly led to the arrest of a 34-year-old man who is in police custody in connection with the incident.
Officers are investigating the report and ask anyone with information to contact 101 quoting log number 772 of August 5, 2014.
