The following people have been sentenced at Grimsby and Cleethorpes Magistrates' Court.
Michael Milner, 29, of Peaks Lane, Grimsby, admitted stealing beef, valued at £75.09 belonging to Asda on May 13; also damaging a cell belonging to Humberside Police on May 14, while subject to a 12-month conditional discharge for theft imposed by Grimsby and Cleethorpes Magistrates' Court on April 7. Original offences: stealing vodka, valued at £28 belonging to Marks and Spencers on February 10; failing to surrender to custody at Grimsby and Cleethorpes Magistrates' Court on March 6. He was given a 12-month community order to participate in an alcohol activity for nine days, to carry out 80 hours' unpaid work and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £60 victims' surcharge.
Jaoa Roberts, 22, of Station Road, Stallingborough, admitted dangerous driving on Park Street and Carr Lane, Grimsby, on January 13. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months, given a 12-month community order with a condition to participate in a driver awareness course for three days, to carry out 180 hours' unpaid work and ordered to pay £350 costs and a £60 victims' surcharge.
Susan Drewett, 41, of Albion House, Grimsby, admitted stealing cosmetics to the value of £279.65 from Boots on October 25 last year. She was given a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay compensation of £139.78 and costs of £100.
Christopher Henshaw, 48, of Coniston Avenue, Grimsby, admitted exceeding the 70mph speed limit on the A180 eastbound on August 1 last year. He was fined £80 with £85 costs and a £20 victims' surcharge. His licence was also endorsed with three penalty points. He was cleared of a separate charge of exceeding the speed limit on the road on July 13 last year following a trial.
