JOINT bosses Nigel Fanthorpe and Steve Newby are calling on Grimsby Borough to be fast out the blocks against struggling Hemsworth Miners Welfare tomorrow.
The Wilderness Boys are back on Northern Counties East League Division One duty at the Bradley Community Stadium (3pm).
Hemsworth have lost their last three matches so Borough will be hoping to cash in to achieve back-to-back wins in the league and bounce back from their midweek cup defeat to Armthorpe Welfare.
Fanthorpe said: "It needs to be a win tomorrow. We are playing well and just got to keep the performances going.
"It's about how you start these kind of games – we need to be get at them from the off.
"Bradley is a good pitch, so there's no reason why we can't get at them early on and get some goals. Hemsworth are a funny team – sometimes they are strong and up and at you, but other times they travel poorly."
Borough will have striker Andy Taylor back after being rested from the 3-1 League Cup defeat to Armthorpe following a knock to his knee.
But former Grimsby Town winger Josh Fuller will be absent and Luke Fanthorpe is a doubt.
Borough battled with ten men for 75 minutes of their defeat to Armsthorpe at Bradley on Tuesday night following Scott Raworth's early dismissal.
They took the lead in the first half through Steve Davis but the visitors equalised on 70 minutes before securing victory with two late goals.
Fanthorpe said: "We were disappointed to lose the other night – I'm sure we would have won if we'd had 11 on the pitch but that's the way it goes."
