THE trust which runs Grimsby's Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital has been taken out of special measures, it has been revealed today.
As reported, Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG) was placed under the sanctions in July 2013, following an investigation into higher than expected mortality rates nationwide.
However, health sector regulator Monitor said patients had since seen a "significant improvement" after it stepped in to take action and offer support.
NLAG will continue to receive support so that it can build on recent improvements and ensure they last.
