A WOMAN has been arrested and bailed after a PCSO found a man laid on the pavement outside a block of flats in Cleethorpes.
The 23-year-old man, from Cleethorpes, was discovered at 7.42am yesterday outside the flats in Princes Road.
He appeared to be seriously injured and a call was made to the ambulance service immediately.
He was taken to Diana Princess of Wales Hospital and later transferred to Hull Royal Infirmary where he remains in a critical condition.
A 21-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the incident and questioned at Grimsby Police Station, before being released on police bail.
Police are now working to establish how the man sustained his injuries.
Officers have conducted a number enquiries at neighbouring properties, and would ask anyone who may have seen or heard anything to call Humberside Police on 101 quoting log 213 of July 13.
