COUPLES looking to say "I do" to an intimate wedding reception will soon be celebrating their big day at a popular Cleethorpes restaurant.
Riverside Tapas Bar & Restaurant, on Alexandra Road, is now offering wedding reception packages for up to 30 people, with a choice of either a sit-down three-course meal or tapas.
Bosses believe the venue is in the perfect location for those tying the knot in the nearby register office at Cleethorpes Town Hall.
Wedding co-ordinator Lyndsay Scattergood, 31, said: "I often walk past the Town Hall on my way to work and I've seen newlyweds coming out and getting straight into their cars.
"I've always wondered where they are going for their receptions and then I realised that there was huge potential at Riverside. It's in such a beautiful location overlooking the gardens and seafront and it's perfect for those who want a small, intimate wedding for family and friends.
"It would also be ideal for couples who have tied the knot abroad and want to have a smaller celebration when they get home."
Celebrations will take place in the private dining room on the first-floor of the venue, with access to a neighbouring bar.
Staff at Riverside will be working with Grimsby-based Fairytales venue decoration to make sure the room looks stunning.
Mum-of-two Lyndsay, who was working as a cleaner at Riverside until she suggested the wedding business, added: "Our chefs have worked really hard to come up with delicious menu options. Couples can either have a three-course sit-down meal or a tapas package as that is something we're really well known for now.
"We've already got one wedding booked in and we can't wait to start working with more brides and grooms to make their dreams come true."
