A driver is receiving treatment at hospital following a road collision with a central reservation on Laceby Road, taking out two illuminated bollards and a lamppost in the process.
Police received a call at 1455 after the driver of a red Nissan Qashqai hit the stationary reservation, thought to be near the junction with Crowland Avenue.
Fire service, police and an ambulance were in attendance and the driver was subsequently treated for a suspected burn injury.
Driving was being diverted through Crowland Avenue but it is thought that traffic is moving freely.
The council are currently at the scene clearing the car.
