Cleethorpes Pier is set to be bought by a group of investors this month.
Following more than a year of voluntary work and investment, the sale is due to take place on July 18.
Planning approval for a major redevelopment of the facility - which will see it transformed into a conference, function and entertainment venue - was given in April.
It is hoped that work will now begin in the near future, for a reopening date around Christmas.
The rebuild will include improvements to the decking, providing for a 360-degree promenade with most of the view out over the water.
There will also be outdoor covered verandas and innovative spaces for both small and large weddings as well as private functions and stage shows.
It is hoped that the development cost will be found from a combination of local business support and vital grants from the Regional Growth Fund.
The existing Pier tearooms will remain open during the refurbishment period and disruptions will be kept to a minimum.
