ELLIOTT Frear has left troubled Salisbury City to sign a two-year deal with Conference rivals Forest Green Rovers.
The 23-year-old winger made 45 appearances for the Whites last season, scoring six goals and earning call-ups to the England C squad in the process.
Salisbury finished level on points with Forest Green last season, but have been demoted to the Conference South after failing to pay debts.
Forest Green manager Ady Pennock told BBC Gloucestershire: "Elliott's a cracking lad and a very good footballer.
"I haven't hidden the fact I'm looking for players with pace and he has got blistering pace.
"He's got a bright future and I'm very pleased we've captured him."
