A series of pictures posted on Facebook today show the incredible progress made by Grimsby-born cancer sufferer Claudia Burkill following her "miracle" recovery from a rare form of brain cancer.
In the photos, eight-year-old Claudia is shown sitting in her brand new wheelchair enjoying her 'Big Macks', which she uses to communicate with others.
Earlier this month, her family, from Market Rasen, announced she had been cured following a three-year battle with metastatic pineoblastoma.
It is thought Claudia - registered blind and left with severe disabilities – is the first girl in the world to beat the extremely aggressive form of cancer.
As reported, Claudia's family are now aiming to raise £250,000 for the Children's Brain Tumour Research Centre at Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham, where she has been treated.
They have already raised more than £100,000 and the cause has attracted more than a quarter of a million followers on Facebook.
