Ella Henderson has successfully held on to her number one spot at the top of the charts with debut single Ghost.
Midweek chart indications clearly showed that the former X Factor singer was on course to be knocked off top spot by 5 Seconds of Summer and their song Don't Stop.
However, the Tetney star played the Capital Summertime Ball yesterday which may well have been a factor in the Aussie pop punk rockers entering the charts at number two.
The singing sensation is currently sitting pretty at the musical summit for another week and will release her first album Chapter One in the autumn.
