A CLEETHORPES day care centre is celebrating an outstanding Ofsted report.
Based at Reynolds Children's Centre, Reynolds Street, the day care facilities were inspected in March.
Ofsted inspector Clare Johnsonreported it is home to skilled teachers and the children are making excellent progress in their learning. She was also full of praise for the professionalism and dedication of staff.
She said: "Children are very happy and their self-esteem is fostered through the close bonds they form with staff.
"The manager, senior staff and staff all work extremely closely together and the result is a very effective team who prioritise children's education and welfare."
Childcare manager Karen Bunce was delighted with the report.
She said: "We are extremely proud. It highlights the dedication, hard work and commitment of our childcare team.
"Ofsted recognised that the manager and staff are a very effective team who prioritise children's education and welfare.
"We are also proud of the partnership we have had the privilege to develop with our parents and carers, and all other agencies who advise and support our work.
"We are delighted to have received this accolade and will endeavour to ensure our child care setting continues to provide the very best experience for all our children."
The only improvement that the centre has been advised to make is to enhance the already excellent monitoring systems, by considering further ways for staff to observe each other's teaching practices.
Councillor Ros James, portfolio holder for children services at North East Lincolnshire Council, said: "We are extremely proud of our recent outstanding Ofsted which highlights the dedication, hard work and commitment of our childcare team.
"It is great to see that all the staff and parents have such high standards and Ofsted's rating truly reflects this."
Parent Katie McClellan said: "The nursery itself is great, it is a big space with excellent facilities.
"But even more importantly the staff are amazing. The work they do is outstanding, they are always professional in the work they carry out but they go over and above what is just required and show real care and affection."
Charlotte Taylor, another parent, added: "All I can say is that Reynolds Nursery is absolutely brilliant. My son has been there since he started aged 10 months, and is now almost four and he loves going every time. The staff are very well trained in all situations, very professional and they always have time to listen to any queries that you may have.
"They obviously deserve this great report."
