Whether you're planning on heading off to the Lincolnshire Show for the first time, or you're a bit of a veteran, it's always good to have a plan of action before you arrive.
To help you, here are our top five tips.
1. Book out the whole day
With so much to see and do at this year's Show, it really is worth getting the most out of your ticket price.
The 200 acre grounds open from 8am until 6pm each day – granting visitors an exhilarating eight hours to explore the fantastic range of activities on offer.
From show jumping and motocross bike athletics in the Main Ring to horseback gymnastics and the much-loved Sheep Show returning to the Countryside Ring this year, there's an abundance of entertainment on display.
Visitors can also indulge in a spot of shopping, see some of Lincolnshire's young talent in the Schools Challenge and be wowed by the ground-breaking Twitter-reactive garden – with plenty more to do besides.
2. Work up an appetite
A day at the Lincolnshire Show would hardly be complete without sampling a fraction of the stunning local produce on offer.
Alongside numerous food and drink concessions across the grounds, the Food Court off Tenth Avenue offers an array of both lunchtime snacks and tasty treats – from meats, fish and pies to fudge, dips, fruit and cheese.
Whether you're trying something completely new or enjoying a delicious take on an old favourite, Show food and drink is unlikely to disappoint with such a vast range of options to try out.
A visit to the Lincolnshire Beekeepers' Association tent to sample the delicious local honey also comes highly recommended.
3. Wear your best (or comfiest) shoes
Much of the grounds are easily accessible with hard standing areas and tarmac roads – however, visitors wanting to spend a long day exploring the Show will soon find that comfy shoes and clothes are a must.
With light showers forecast for Wednesday, it's well worth wearing something you don't mind getting a little muddy.
On the other hand, those who do want to get dressed up can enter this year's Show Chic competition – with prizes awarded for those truly dressing to impress.
Anyone wishing to take part should get to the Forest Pines Stand at 3pm on the Wednesday, where a drinks reception will await.
4. Bring the whole family (including the dog)!
The Lincolnshire Show really does offer something for the whole family.
Those with younger ones will probably want to squeeze in a trip to The Kids Zone, where youngsters can let loose on a variety of fairground attractions, including a carousel, bumper boats, trampolines and a bouncy castle.
There's plenty more for younger visitors to enjoy, from arts and crafts to various games and displays.
Baby changing facilities are available across the Showground.
Four-legged friends are also welcome at the Show, provided they remain on a lead and well-behaved.
While dogs are not permitted in the Epic Centre, the Food Court or the Flower Show, a dog crèche service in the Discovery Centre allows visitors to have their dogs looked after in two-hour slots for a donation of £5 per dog per hour to the Jerry Green Charity.
5. Stay safe
It's probably worth making a few arrangements to ensure everyone enjoys the Show and is able to make the most out of the day.
Although fairly mild temperatures are predicted for both days, changeable weather could mean that sun cream and a hat prove useful.
Making sure you remain hydrated is also key, especially for those intending to explore the grounds for long periods of time.
Alcohol will be served from a number of outlets – however, those who appear intoxicated will not be served and may be asked to leave the Showground.
The First Aid centre will be situated on the corner of Eighth Avenue and Row H, where St John's Ambulance will be in attendance.
