Investigations are continuing into the death of 43-year-old Wayne Jennings.
As reported, Jareth Wadner, 25, of Louth Road, South Somercotes, was charged with grievous bodily harm.
An incident took place outside the Axe and Cleaver pub on Sunday, June 1, and Mr Jennings, a builder, was found at the scene with severe head injuries.
He died in hospital a few days later.
Police are continuing their investigations, although a spokesperson said an update could be expected in the next few days.
