An arrest has been made tonight after someone falsely claimed there was a bomb at Immingham police station.
Shortly after 9.30pm the Immingham Neighbourhood Policing Team tweeted: "A number of logs related to a potential bomb threat to Immingham police station. Thankfully there was no such bomb.
"Since the calls, someone has been arrested and charged to court regarding Malicious Communications Act offence."
Last month, a Second World War shell was found on the building site of the new Tesco store in Immingham.
As reported, a bomb disposal unit was dispatched to Kennedy Way after workers on the site spotted the device.
Keep checking for updates.
