THE following people were sentenced at Grimsby and Cleethorpes Magistrates Court:
Rachel Hallaron, 30, Armstrong Street, Grimsby, admitted stealing two pairs of socks, valued at £10, from Boyes, Freeman Street, Grimsby. She also admitted taking a half leg of lamb, a beef roasting joint and two sirloin steaks valued at £27.49 from Lidl on March 18 and failing to comply with a community order, imposed on February 11. She was given a 20-day community order, with a requirement to participate in education training and employment activities and a ten-month drug rehabilitation programme. She was also ordered to pay £85 costs and £10 compensation.
Lee Gittens, 22, of Daubney Street, Cleethorpes, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Salacon Way, Grimsby, on April 5. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge, with £85 costs and a £15 victims' surcharge.
Jay Hall, 21, of Elsenham Road, Grimsby, admitted possessing two £10 bags of cannabis, a Class B drug, on January 28. He was fined £55 with £85 costs and a £20 victims' surcharge.
Carl Lyons, 33, of Broadway, Grimsby, admitted criminal damage to an electronic thermostat to the value of £90 on February 20 and using violence to enter a premises on the same date. He was made subject to a six-week curfew with a 20-day community order, including an alcohol activity requirement. A restraining order was also imposed, preventing him from entering Magnolia Street, Grimsby, until April 21, 2017. He was also ordered to pay £90 compensation and £85 costs, along with £500 compensation.
Michael Mawer, 28, of Greengate Lane, South Killingholme, admitted driving without insurance on April 5. He was fined £250 with £85 costs and a £25 victims' surcharge. He was also banned from driving for 12 months.
Krzystof Piabianek, 28, of Ainslie Street, Grimsby, admitted stealing children's clothes, toothpaste, protein and a clock to the value of £84.65 from Tesco, Grimsby, on March 30. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £15 victims' surcharge.
Andrew Taylor, 23, of Clarendon Road, Grimsby, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour after threatening to "glass" two people in a Cleethorpes pub on March 1 and failing to surrender to custody on April 3. Committed to prison for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months, community order, with supervision for 12 months and a 28-day curfew was imposed. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs with an £80 victims' surcharge.
