POLICE have just confirmed that the body found earlier today is that of missing teenager Callum Chapman.
He was formally identified by his family tonight.
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances.
His body was found at lunchtime today by a member of the public near a golf course at Allonby, which is north of Maryport, where Callum had been staying.
The member of the public spotted the body on the beach at about 12.30pm today.
Police and coastguards had been looking for the teenager since he was reporting missing in the early hours of Sunday.
Callum is from Holton-le-Clay, and had been staying with relatives in Cumbria when he went missing in the early hours of Sunday.
