"THE team I send out tonight have to show why we are higher up the pyramid than Coalville."
That's the message from Grimsby Town manager Paul Hurst as the Mariners aim to finally end the Ravens' resistance.
He admits that Saturday's FA Trophy First Round draw in Leicestershire was frustrating, but has urged his players to show their quality at Blundell Park.
Hurst said: "It wasn't the starting XI that I would ordinarily choose that took to the field on Saturday.
"I think there were elements that perhaps we missed and certain players that are vital to us, but I'm not too concerned.
"Tonight gives the players who are selected the opportunity to perhaps show that they are better than they showed on Saturday.
"The team I send out tonight have to show why we are higher up the pyramid than Coalville.
"Other than Liam Hearn, we've got a fully fit squad to choose from. One or two are carrying niggles but I'll be able to pick from the players that I want.
"I have to decide how best to approach this game, bearing in mind we've got Northampton on Saturday and the Welling game next Tuesday."
