The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for North East Lincolnshire on Thursday with strong winds expected to affect the borough. Travel disruption is possible as westerly gales spread southwards, with gusts of 60 to 70 mph predicted. Large waves and high tides may also cause some coastal flooding. Winds are set to ease overnight into Friday but temperatures will drop with highs of 2 or 3c during the day accompanied by scattered wintry showers.
