GRIMSBY Town striker Liam Hearn looks set for a lengthy injury lay-off after a scan on his knee revealed that he has ruptured cruciate ligaments.
As reported, the Hitman underwent the procedure yesterday after limping off in the dying stages of last Saturday's victory over Barnet.
However, the scans have confirmed both his and Paul Hurst's worst fears.
