GRIMSBY cueman Stuart Carrington has stormed through to the Second Round of the UK Championship.
The 23-year-old defeated Ben Woollaston 6-2 at the Barbican Centre, in York, scoring heavily throughout the contest.
Carrington required a snooker to clinch the last frame, which he did courtesy of a measured 27-point clearance.
