A MAN was taken to hospital after being in collision with a car on Ellis Way, Grimsby near the Asda superstore.
Traffic was temporarily held up as the East Midlands Ambulance Service crew treated the pedestrian who is understood to be a man in his 30s.
He was in a group of three men crossing the road when one of them was in collision with the car.
Pc Rob Stanley, of Humberside Police appealed for witnesses to the collision which happened shortly before midday.
He said the man's injuries were minor.
The driver of the green Volkswagen Passat, which sustained a shattered windscreen was interviewed by police.
Officers asked anyone who saw the collision to contact Humberside Police by calling 101 and quoting log number 221.
