A Grimsby flat has been raided after excessive noise left neighbours feeling like they were living near to a "boombox". Enforcement officers from North East Lincolnshire Council, Shoreline and two Humberside Police officers swooped on the flat in Comber Place shortly after 8am this morning. Three televisions and stereo equipment were seized and will be held by authorities. The latest neighbour complaint came as early as 6.53am today.
John Waite, community safety officer, said: "This action has come as a result of repeated complaints from a number of residents in that area. "We have already had comments from neighbours saying they can sleep at night again and feel safe." Read more in tomorrow's Grimsby Telegraph.
