Have the clowns arrived in Grimsby?
Several sinister characters have been spotted in parts of Lincolnshire over the past few days and there are now reports of sightings in our area.
Clowns have allegedly been seen in Freshney Place shopping centre as well as in the streets near Weelsby Woods.
In addition, the picture above was posted on a Facebook page named 'Grimsby's Clown 2013'.
As reported, the clown 'phenomenon', which has been fuelled enormously by social media, has spread across the country after a man in Northampton was repeatedly photographed wandering around the town in October, quickly becoming an internet sensation.
