THREE people were taken to hospital after two vehicles collided in Granville Street, Grimsby.
The crash happened at the junction with Convamore Road at around 5.40pm on Saturday and involved a black Renault Clio and a silver Vauxhall Vivaro taxi.
The Clio ploughed into the front garden wall of a house after the collision, while the taxi narrowly avoided two parked cars.
Firefighters cut off the roof of the Clio to free the driver, who was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the taxi and a passenger also suffered minor injuries.
Paul Cummings, 52, whose front yard wall was hit, said: "I feel sorry for the poor woman in the car. As long as she's safe, that's the main thing. Walls can be repaired."
