THE Mariners are set to have a full compliment of players to pick from for this afternoon's clash with Chester.
Captain Craig Disley, pictured, could be welcomed back into the fold after returning from injury to take a full part in training towards the end of the week.
Liam Hearn is also fully fit after being left out of the 4-0 loss to Halifax in midweek – a game that saw Aswad Thomas serve the final game of his three-match suspension.
It all means that boss Paul Hurst will have a few selection headaches ahead of the clash with the Blues – particularly after stating his desire to shake things up following that demoralising defeat last time.
He said: "Craig Disley has trained and I'll speak with him before today. He looked okay once we'd got into the session – that would be good news for us.
"Liam is fit and readyn and Aswad Thomas has returned from suspension, so it gives me a decision to make there.
"Lenell John-Lewis and Alex Rodman have got slight knocks but I expect them to be okay – fingers crossed we'll be back to a full squad.
He continued: "I've got in mind what I'm looking to do and there will be a few changes. Ultimately, it's about picking what I feel is the best team to go and get the result.
"We need to be better pretty much all over the pitch after Tuesday.
"Hopefully the lads will pull together and get the result. It's been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster and Halifax was hard to take.
"But we were not going to walk around with faces like thunder for the rest of the week leading up to today. The lads have given me the response that I wanted in training. We've now got a chance to put things right and we need to do that."
