A FAMOUS helicopter will be taking to the road – rather than the sky – while it's being moved by an Immingham haulage company.

The famous Hiller chopper featured in the James Bond film Goldfinger, and was flown by Pussy Galore. It will be transported all the way to Rome for a new movie featuring Hugh Grant.

The Allensway Group is currently transporting it from Sherburn in North Yorkshire, where it was stored for the new Guy Ritchie film The Man From U.N.C.L.E

It will be driven 3,000 miles for the movie which stars Armie Hammer from The Lone Ranger and Jared Harris from Man Of Steel.

The helicopter is owned by Robert Heilds, manager of Heilds Aviation, where Allen Williamson (Allensway MD) trained as a helicopter pilot – which is how he found out about the opportunity to get involved.

Watch out for the famous helicopter on the road – and if you spot it, let us know by e-mailing pictures to newsdesk@grimsbytelegraph.co.uk
