DELICIOUS homemade wine will be the star attraction at a Fabulously Festive Fruity Fayre planned for November.
Peaks Top Farm, in Hewitts Avenue, in New Waltham, is throwing open its gates for the event after a trial fayre last year became an overwhelming success.
The Farm will showcase local produce as well as its own wine at the event while raising money for the Women's Refuge charity.
Linda Clayton, whose family runs the farm, said the weekend was an opportunity to show off the array of food, drink and crafts being made in the area.
"We held our first festive fayre last year and the people that came said it was a marvellous event and hoped we would have more," she said.
"It is about highlighting that things are happening here and hopefully people will find things they enjoy.
"People have been so enthusiastic about it, it is amazing really.
"It's nice and early so people can order things they see maybe for Christmas presents."
Peaks Top Farm has been creating and selling its own range of wine for 18 months and has grown its own fruit for more than 30 years.
"We launched the wine at the Jubilee weekend last year but by the third Saturday we had ran out," said Linda.
Flavours of wine include strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, apple, gooseberry and bramble, as well as special edition flavours like red gooseberry and rose hip.
All of the original six will be on sale on the weekend but Linda is also appealing for other local producers to take up stalls and showcase their own tastes.
The event will take place on the weekend of November 23 and 24, from 11am to 4pm each day.
Entry is free and there will be refreshments and cakes being sold to raise money for Women's Aid.
Anybody interested in having a stall can call Linda on 01472 812941 or e-mail info@peakstopfarm.com
Wine tasting sessions are held at the farm every Saturday between noon and 4pm.
The farm can be found on the A1098 Hewitts Avenue road.
