POLICE are on the hunt for two wanted men who have connections to North East Lincolnshire.
Humberside Police are appealing for help in tracking down Lithuanian men, Raimondas Pupsys, 26, and Ernestas Rimkevicius, 28 in connection to a serious offence as part of Operation TATE.
Because two other men have been arrested and remanded in custody for the same offence, officers cannot go into the exact details of their apparent offence.
But stress they are wanted for 'very serious matters' and that it is 'vital' they are found.
Both men were living in Scunthorpe and have connections in this borough, Boston, Sleaford and Peterborough. There is a chance they have returned to Lithuania.
Detective Inspector Andy Stones, who is leading the investigation, said: "I really need people who know where either Raimondas Pupsys and Ernestas Rimkevicius are, to come forward and tell police. These men need to be located in order for us to progress with Operation TATE.
"Since the launch of Operation TATE we have arrested and charged two people. Both of these individuals have appeared in court and are now remanded in custody. It is for this reason that I am not able to go into any other detail about the nature of the offence. All I can say is that both men are wanted for very serious matters and it is vital that we find them.
"All information that is passed to police is done so in the strictest of confidence and you can report anything anonymously by calling Crimestoppers. Any information, no matter how big or small it might seem could be relevant to our investigation so please get in touch and help us to locate these two people."
Officers have been speaking with the Lithuanian community and designed a Lithuanian-written poster.
Anyone with information which can help police locate either of the men is asked to call Humberside Police tel 101 quoting LOG 114 of 30 July 2013 or call Crimestoppers anonymously tel 0800 555 111.
