BRACES from Liam Hearn and Lenell John Lewis helped Grimsby Town to a 5-2 pre-season victory over North Ferriby United tonight.
The frontmen's goals were added to by a late Sam Hatton free-kick to round off a fine comeback win for the Mariners after the hosts had twice taken the lead.
Kendall opened the scoring for North Ferriby before Hearn's first of the evening pegged them back.
However, the hosts struck again through Davie to take them into the break at 2-1.
But it was then that the Mariners began to stage a spirited comeback that saw them roll in four second-half goals to see them to an ultimately comfortable win.
