Grimsby Town goalkeeper James McKeown is 'going nowhere'

JAMES McKeown is "100 per cent certain" he will still be a Grimsby Town player when the new season kicks off.

After earning rave reviews for his displays, the scouts were queuing up at Blundell Park to take a look at the young goalkeeper as last season drew to a close.

And six trophies at the Mariners' end-of-season awards did little to harm his reputation either.

However, the stopper, who has a year remaining on his current Town deal, insists there have been no offers for his services – that he is aware of.
