GUY Martin capped off a largely disappointing Isle of Man TT with a fifth-placed finish in the final race of the week.
The Kirmington motorcycle racer has claimed 13 podiums at the event, but couldn't add another top-three result – or first win – to his collection yesterday.
Instead, John McGuinness stormed to his 20th TT victory in the Senior TT superbike contest – claiming a new race record time and denying Michael Dunlop a fifth win of the week.
The race was restarted following a three-and-a-half hour break after a first-lap crash saw 11 spectators taken to hospital.
The rider involved, Jonathan Howarth from Barnsley, escaped unhurt, but one fan was seriously injured in the incident.
