A JOBSEEKER has taken to the streets, plackard in hand, to try and find employment.
Martyn Connolly, 26, of Cooper Road, is standing on Cleethorpe Road with a plackard in his hand asking for outdoor work and offering his number.
He spent two years working for an agency as a factory worker but the work dried up around a month ago - and he has applied for around 40 jobs since.
But with a baby due in September, he decided he needed to take action - and has already been offered some part-time work as a window-cleaner since 9am.
Mr Connolly said it is not easy as he doesn't have the qualifications that many employers are looking for.
