And now our readers have crowned Sentiments Independent Funeral Home as winners of the inaugural Grimsby Telegraph Buy Local Awards, to thank them for their outstanding dedication to their customers.
As reported, we asked you to vote for your favourite independent trader from those signed up to our Buy Local reward card scheme – which you did in your droves.
Sentiments owner George Axworthy said: "First of all, I would like to thank the Grimsby Telegraph for a brilliant idea that helps local small business to connect with people.
"Secondly, I would like to accept this award – not for myself – but for the whole, and I mean the whole, of the team at Sentiments who work so hard for all their clients.

The Grimsby Telegraph's deputy editor Michelle Hurst added: "Sentiments joined the scheme by not only giving money off a funeral or funeral bond to Buy Local cardholders, but also donating money to the Big Red Heart Appeal.
