GRIMSBY Town have received a £19,000 grant, which will enable the club to carry out repairs and maintenance to the floodlights at Blundell Park.
The Football Stadia Improvement Fund (FSIF) – the largest funder of non-league football in the country – announced the cash injection today.
Town stadium manager Nick Dale said: "In today's current financial climate, we are delighted to receive this grant from the FSIF.
"This funding will enable us to carry out repairs and maintenance to the floodlight towers at Blundell Park, ensuring the continuation of football at our historical stadium until such time as a new stadium is realised."
