CHOCOLATE lovers beware!
North East Lincolnshire Council trading standards officers have found fake Wonka bars on sale in the area.
The chocolates were seized following similar discoveries elsewhere in the country and further premises are now being checked.
Any bars discovered will also be removed from sale.
There are currently no known health risks, but the origin of these bars is unknown.
If you believe you have one of the bars, the team has given the following top tips to check:
- There is no manufacturer or country of origin listed on the back of the bar
- There is a "Golden Ticket" inside every bar. This has no information about how to claim the prize.
If you believe you have one of the bars, call the team on 01472 313131 and ask to speak to Environmental Health or Trading Standards.
