ROB Scott heralded Lenell John-Lewis' match-winning display at Woking – but admitted the striker's season could be over.
The 23-year-old netted Town's second-half winner last night, to register his first goal for the club and bring another three points for the promotion-chasers.
But moments later, the former Bury man limped off – and joint boss Scott admits that he might miss out on the play-offs, which begin next week.
"We had to go down to ten men for the last 15 minutes because Lenny – who I thought was outstanding – limped off," he said.
"He deserved his goal and I'm really pleased for him because his hold-up play, his strength, his aerial ability was there for everybody to see.
"Unfortunately, he has pulled his thigh. We were toying with the idea of taking him off just before, and then all of a sudden he makes a run and pulls his quad.

"That was the only negative to come out of the game, but as a group they were excellent – Greg Fleming in goal stepped up to the challenge as well and was fantastic.
"I would say that Lenny is struggling (for the play-offs). His explanation was that he felt something twang in his thigh."
The co-manager admitted that John-Lewis has endured a frustrating start to life at Blundell Park, but backed him to be a hit with the Mariners – whether it's this season or next.
Scott added: "Sometimes the fans need to realise that you can't just walk into a football club and be Messi or Ronaldo – it doesn't work like that.
"He's come into a new squad of players and it takes time to work out how we want him to play and the systems we play.
"Lenny's a good player and he unfairly came in for some criticism. He's an old-fashioned-type centre-forward. He'll work hard, win his headers, he'll back in and hold the ball up."
